Our Mission
Letter from our Founders
We are excited to introduce you to Musical Theatre Festivals Educational Foundation (MTF).
We founded this 501(c)3 charitable organization because we know students who participate in arts programs do better in school, develop more profound empathy, welcome inclusivity, and are more engaged with their communities. We are aware that quality performing arts educational opportunities are not accessible to every student who has the desire to participate. We want to change that.
When we took over ownership of MTCA in 2019, there were no resources for scholarship opportunities; we immediately saw the need, and MTF Educational Foundation was born. The mission of MTF is to support Middle School, High School, and Youth Theatre Students by providing meaningful and impactful scholarships for musical theatre educational opportunities and fund resources supporting educational theatre.
We are passionate about our mission, and thank you for considering partnering with us. Your support of Educational Theatre is more than just about opportunities to perform; it is about building community, confidence, and connections for all students regardless of their resources.

Our Mission Statement
Musical Theatre Festivals Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our mission is to support students pursuing musical theatre educational opportunities, gather resources supporting musical theatre education, and raise funds to provide scholarship opportunities to MTCA Festivals and Summer Intensives for Middle School, High School, and Youth Theatre Students.
Our Impact
MTF facilitated Higher Education Scholarship Awards totaling over $360,000, allowing students to attend BFA and Conservatory Programs in 2023.
MTF Awarded over 52 Scholarships for Students to attend the MTCA 2023 Festival in both in-need and performance categories.
MTF contributed funds for educational opportunities, allowing MTCA Students to experience Master Classes and Adjudication with Broadway Professionals.
